Consumer Price Inflation, June 2013

The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) has again risen, by 2.9% in the year to June. This is up from the 2.7% in May, with the increase largely attributed to the cost of fuel, clothing and footwear.

The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) has again risen, by 2.9% in the year to June. This is up from the 2.7% in May, with the increase largely attributed to the cost of fuel, clothing and footwear.

CPIH (CPI for home owners) also grew, by 2.7%,  up from 2.5% in May. The slower growth experienced here is a result of housing costs increasing more slowly than overall inflation.
